Hello taverners Sometimes it’s hard – or impossible – to put the genie back in the bottle. So it appears for The Fantastic Tavern. I have plenty of requests to bring it back and now our kind supporters at Greenwich Council and Ravensbourne have created an opportunity during the Olympics that feels too good to miss. So hold the date. Thursday 9th August 2012 sees us host The Fantastic Tavern Olympics Decathlon. More details will follow but the ingredients will be familiar – speakers, your participation, beers and ideas. And for those who really want to get into the spirit, it’s optional fancy dress with prizes for the winners. The theme? Olympic sports and greats of course (no speedos). Unlike the Olympics, the tickets are easy to get hold of. Just let Michelle you are coming by emailing michelle.flynn@emc.com. For those who like sports, the events of the evening will be beamed to our Fantastic Olympic location. Think dome and you’ll be getting warm.
